The 'Pushing the Envelope' Visible Green Home® Tour
Architectural Resource welcomes you to join us at a whole house remodeling project that is literally and figuratively “pushing the envelope”. This remodeling project is registered with the United States Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes® program with the certification goal of Platinum- this program’s highest level of Green certification.
You are invited to a special "insiders" perspective of this project; a unique glimpse of the inner workings of a whole-house, deep Green remodel, during construction. Michael Klement, AIA of Architectural Resource and Meadowlark Builders, the architects and builders on the project, will be personally taking attendees through the project on guided tours. The myriad of emerging, state-of-the-art, Green and Sustainable design and construction features of the project will be presented and explained, first hand. This is a rare chance to learn about cutting edge technology and smart, sustainable residential design approaches that can be applied to your own project, be it new construction, addition, or remodel.
The event will be limited to a total of only eight tours spread across only two days. We are limiting the number of tours and allowing more time for each tour segment. They will conducted every hour and a half and though free, do require advanced registration through the registration link from this web site.
Please be advised that you will be visiting an actual construction site. This is the real deal. Dress warmly, avoid loose clothing, and please wear sturdy shoes. Unfortunately, restroom facilities will not be provided, so please plan accordingly. We recommend arriving early enough to find adequate parking and to check in. Looking forward to seeing you!
